Coffee Shop

Our Coffee Shop is run by volunteers and its aims are as follows:

  • To provide a place to make friends, especially for those who might not meet many people during the week
  • To provide some entertainment
  • To encourage gentle exercise, healthy eating and personal security
  • To provide some information about health and safety matters
  • To provide information about local support services, and about what is going on in the neighbourhoods and town.

Over a limited area, transport to and from the church is provided by Leger Bus, at a modest cost, for those who cannot reach the church by themselves.

External speakers provide the health information and some of the entertainment.

The Coffee Shop is open on most Mondays with a usual programme of:

 9:30 Refreshments and chatter
11:00  Speaker or entertainment
12:00  Finish and bus home.

We don't have a membership -  Anyone who supports the aims of the Group can join in when they want to   (We do keep a voluntary register, and we may ask if we can keep you name and address.)

If you want to know more please contact Pam Craven on 07721 379 635.
